Trams and trains

Nottingham is famous for its tram system and Old Market Square is once again the setting as trams glide across the city’s central feature. In fact it makes getting across the city centre easy with links from Nottingham train station right through to the Goose Fair site and beyond.

East Midlands Trains operate services from Nottingham train station to London, Peterborough, Liverpool and Manchester and more. With a regular timetable from most UK cities, Nottingham is easily accessed by train. You can also try the Robin Hood Line for train links to north Nottinghamshire and surrounding attractions.


Airports and transfers

East Midlands Airport serves Nottingham from the south west and Robin Hood Airport gives access to Sherwood Forest from the north with easy transfers.

You can access the city centre from a designated Skylink bus services or via train at the park and ride to East Midlands Parkway train station. Take the Robin Hood Airport Lynx service to access Worksop, Retford and the beautiful area of Bassetlaw.

Train services from East Midlands Parkway take around 15 minutes to the centre of Nottingham every hour whilst the Skylink service runs every 30 minutes and takes just over 30 minutes to the city centre. The Robin Hood Airport Lynx services takes around 40 minutes and runs regularly from 6am to 11pm.

Road transport links
